David P. Whitley CAI CES Lead Auctioneer with Rocky Mountain Estate Brokers was recently elected to serve as the 2007 CAA Vice-President. Whitley has been a member of the CAA Board of Directors for five years. Whitley will be responsible for planning the 2008 CAA Convention. He will also represent Colorado at the National Auctioneers Association’s State Leadership Conference held in the fall of 2007.
During his term on the CAA Board of Directors, Whitley has been the Chairman of the web site, Auctioneer contest and directory committees. Whitley said, “We are entering an exciting time for Auctioneers. With the current real estate market, there are tremendous opportunities for members of the Colorado Auctioneer’s Association. I look forward to continue working with the Board to promote Auctioneers and the Auction method of marketing throughout Colorado.”
